As outlined in our statement on 13th May 2024, from 1st August 2024 and throughout the duration of the current Performance Syllabus (until 2029), learners can choose their Set Pieces* from the following anthologies:
  • Acting Anthology Volumes 4 and 5

For Own Choice Pieces, learners may choose from:
  • Acting Anthology Volume 4

Learners can also select Own Choice Pieces from older Acting Anthologies or any other literary source, provided the pieces meet the specific exam requirements for their chosen qualification. This also applies to pieces from Volume 4 used as Own Choice.

Own Choice Pieces selected for Acting exams must not be set anywhere in the current LAMDA Acting Anthology (Volume 5). Pieces selected for a Learner’s Set and Own Choice piece must be completely different and cannot share any text.

*IMPORTANT: the Set Piece chosen by the Learner must correspond to the specific subject and grade taken (i.e, for Acting Grade 1, Learners must prepare a Set Piece taken from the Grade 1 selection).
