The Assessment Criteria (AC) are the specific elements of the exam that the Learner is being assessed on.

These vary and change with each exam and increase in complexity as Learners progress through the higher grades.

The Assessment Criteria are all published in the relevant syllabus and are printed on all Learner Examination Reports (LERs).

A Learner must fulfill all of the Assessment Criteria in order to pass their exam. Irrespective of the overall mark they receive, if one of the Assessment Criteria is marked as a fail, the over result awarded will be marked as a Fail (See How does a Learner receive a fail?)
