It is essential that Centres support their Learners appropriately by having some basic policies and procedures in place and ensuring that they are adhered to. The policies and procedures we require are:

  • Complaints
  • Conflicts of Interest
  • Enquiries About Results and Appeals
  • Malpractice and Maladministration
  • Safeguarding

These policies should be your own and must clearly outline what actions your Centre will take, should any of the above occur. They must also be easily accessible for your customers to consult them when needed.

For example, your Complaints policy should provide your customers with a clear step-by-step process on how to submit a complaint, which member(s) of staff will investigate it, what the expected timelines are, and what outcomes are possible.

More guidance on how to create your own policies can be found under “Appendix 1 – Section 3.3 Guidance” on our Centre Registration Form, which you may download from our website here: Become a Private Centre
