Once an examination event is live and you have received your final examination paperwork, it is unfortunately too late to make changes to the timetable. This includes: 

  • Amending allocated exam times 
  • Swapping exam slots between learners 
  • Making changes to the exam or grade listed 
  • Swapping learners between exam days 


IMPORTANT: The below information is applicable for In-Person exams ONLY. 


Changes to exam or grade prior to the event taking place: 

In the situation where your learner has been submitted for the wrong exam/grade, please contact our LAMDA office as soon as possible at exams@lamda.ac.uk. 

We can then look into the options available to ensure your learners exam can still take place. 

In some circumstances, it may be possible to change the exam on the day: 

  • You must request a Change of Examination Form on the exam day.
    • For Public Centres: you must request this form from the LAMDA Representative present at the venue 
    • For UK and International Private Centres: the Centre Coordinator must inform the Examiner before the event begins 
  • Ensure sufficient time is given before the exam begins to fill out this form. 
  • The completed form will be passed to the examiner before the exam begins. 
  • If the exam takes place, the change will be processed after the exam by our Results Team to ensure certificates and records reflect the correct exam. 
  • If there is a difference in price, the higher exam fee will be applied. 


Important information to be aware of 

  • If the requested change in exam causes a significant difference in exam length, it may not be possible to approve the change on the day, as this could cause delays to the overall exam timetable. 
  • If the learner’s exam cannot go ahead due to additional time required, the exam will not take place. In this situation, the learner will need to be entered for a new exam at a later date. 
  • Once exam timings have been allocated, learners are not permitted to swap exam times with another candidate.
