Once an examination event is live and you have received your final examination paperwork, it is unfortunately too late to make changes to the timetable. This includes:
- Amending allocated exam times
- Swapping exam slots between learners
- Making changes to the exam or grade listed
Changes to exam or grade prior to the event taking place:
In the situation where your learner has been submitted for the wrong exam/ grade, please contact our LAMDA office ASAP (exams@lamda.ac.uk). We can then look into the options available to ensure your learners exam can still take place.
In some circumstances, it may be possible to request a change of exam form on the day of the exam.
- You must request a Change of Examination Form from the LAMDA Representative at the venue on the exam day.
- If the exam takes place, the change will be processed after the exam by our Results Team to ensure certificates and records reflect the correct exam.
Important information to be aware of
- If the requested change in exam causes a significant difference in exam length, it may not be possible to approve the change on the day, as this could cause delays to the overall exam timetable.
- If the learner’s exam cannot go ahead due to additional time required, the exam will not take place. In this situation, the learner will need to be entered for a new exam at a later date.
- Once exam timings have been allocated, learners are not permitted to swap exam times with another candidate.
