If a song appears in different media and the lyrics are significantly different in the two versions, then these are considered separate editions of the song with their respective publication date. 

If the song lyrics have not been altered from the original production, then the original publication date is taken into consideration. 

We do recommend that if there is any doubt about whether the Learner is able to meet the Assessment Criteria to the best of their abilities, answer the Knowledge questions and comply with the Examination Regulations that an alternative piece is chosen.
