We understand that sometimes learners may miss their exams for any number of reasons. In exceptional circumstances, LAMDA may be able to issue a partial or full credit note to contribute towards a retake.

The below reasons are not grounds for a credit note towards an exam retake.

  • Sickness
  • Bereavement (please email us about this to check)
  • Technical difficulties to do with Zoom settings (i.e. blurred background or Centre Stage turned on)
Other reasons for a learner being absent from an exam may be accepted, for more information check out the Credit Note Policy on our website (under the Finance section).

Please ensure to inform us as soon as possible if a learner is/was unable to take their exam as there is a 10 day cut off period from the exam in which to get the information to LAMDA.

If you are unsure if your learner’s absence constitutes a credit note or reschedule, please contact us on exams@lamda.ac.uk for further information. Please ensure to include the centre code, name of the learner, date of the exam and reason for the learner’s absence in the email so that we can get back to you as soon as possible.
