The Group Syllabus review is now well under way.
The first draft has been reviewed and the first working groups are currently in progress. We are therefore pleased to confirm that we will be launching the new Group syllabus including the following examinations as of 1 August 2025, with the first examinations for these qualifications being held from 1 January 2026:
- Group Recital: Entry Grade and Grade 1 – 3
- Group Choral Speaking: Entry Grade and Grade 1 – 3
- Group Acting: Entry Grade and Grade 1 – 8
- Group Devising Drama: Entry Grade and Grade 1 – 8
- Group Musical Theatre: Entry Grade and Grade 1 – 8
This means that we will be withdrawing the previous Group Syllabus examinations, as described in the above list, as of 31 December 2025. All teachers should therefore prepare to start teaching Learners using the new syllabus (launched as of 1 August 2025) for any Learners who will be taking their examinations from 1 January 2026 onwards.
