For Solo Performance examinations, Learners must only play one character. 

The only exception to this rule is when the Author / Playwright / Style of the piece specifically calls for multiple characters to be played by one performer.

Only for Group Performance examinations, as it can be challenging to find suitable pieces containing the exact number of characters to match the number of group members, can Learners play more than one character in the scene.
