The LAMDA Level 2 Award in Shakespeare for Performance is designed to support Learners in further developing a range of skills in performing a Shakespeare text.

It is set on the RQF (Regulated Qualification Framework) at Level 2, which is equitable to

GCSEs.

At Level 2, Learners will now perform one set piece, from the speeches provided, and one set sonnet by William Shakespeare, audibly and clearly.

They will be able to apply their knowledge, understanding and skills to produce a thoughtful interpretation, based on creative engagement with the material and careful preparation.

Learners will develop a deeper understanding of the material, and demonstrate how form and thought can inform performance choices.
